Is Evgeni Nabokov screwed?

i think, unless the islanders cut him loose, or dipetro gets hurt again, his playing career in the nhl is over. but if dipetro gets hurt, and he plays good, then he might be used as trade bait to a contender. then he might finally get his ring.
