I think that everyone should know how and when it's okay for them to express their opinion. So, yes, I will teach my children this. And I am a very good example of this. I voice my opinion but not in an obnoxious "I'm right, you're wrong" in your face kind of way. My mom taught me this way. She also taught me how to stand up for MYSELF physically if I am being bullied. That's the problem with how they teach bullying at school. They teach OTHER kids to step in and help the victim. They teach the victim to go and tell an adult. Well, how about we teach the victim of being bullied how to defend themselves because there won't always be someone else around to help.

I always considered myself as being independent, but when things don't work out right i tend to just pack up and move. My husband and I have no debt, no children, and we still rent meaning we have no home loan. We are in our mid twenties and want to travel. Vegas and Hawaii are easy being we live in America. This if why some Canadian teams even got moved to America (Winnipeg Jets). The thing about the Islanders, that's because New York already has the Ranger, so Islander attendance suffers. This is no different than the Clippers compared to the Lakers or the Mets to the Yankees. I do think Canada should have more teams, but at least Canada has 6 hockey teams. I mean Canada only has 1 basketball and baseball team (both out of Toronto) and no teams in the NFL. The CFL makes up for the lack of a NFL team, but still. Even if there were more Canadian hockey teams, players would still go to American cities for more money and Canada's teams would still suffer. I'm trying to figure out this movie?

It's not a recent movie, and all I remember is one of the scenes. There is this man who is a child phsycologist or some sort of doctor. One of his patients finds him when he grows up and harrasses him, basically because he never cured him. At the end, his parents call this Dr. person and he goes to their backyard, finding him tied up to a chair. His chest has a diamond tattoo, which one of the things he always talked about as a child. He connects the dots that his father molested or raped him as a child, and that is why he's so screwed up. This man ends up shooting the doctor, I'm not sure if he succeeds at killing him, and then he kills himself. All I remember. It's driving me crazy because I have no idea how to figure out what this movie is and I'd appreciate any suggestions!

We are thinking of going to Spain for our honeymoon in July, the whole month. Is there one place you'd recommend we set up base (rent an apartment), so that we could then take day trips around? I recently received an e-mail from my university's financial aid department asking me to fill out and fax them the 'Tribal Need Financial Analysis' form. I read (though the conclussions were not definitive) that homosexuality happened while on the womb (at less for guys, some issue about hormones, making a boy effeminate). I understand that could work for transexuality, but no for homosexuality, but I met lot of homosexual gays that looked manlier than lot of straight guys. Right... Im meeting this girl in about 36 hours and i need somehow reduce the redness and swelling of my acne in that space of time, is there anything i can do to do this? My acne is all across my jawline. Why don't they just have a referendum on the Falkland Islands?

Neither the UK or Argentina is ever going to budge on the sovereignty' of the Islands, and neither side wants another war. So why not setup a plan for a referendum on the sovereignty of the Islands, which would have the backing of the US, EU, the UN ETC and allow the people who live there the choice on what they want to do with their own homeland? Whether they wish to be annexed into Argentina, remain a UK protectorate, or choose independence. And then both nations recognize the decision of the Islanders themselves. And officially bury the hatchet and close the matter. Possibly giving the Islands the legal right to hold any future referendums if they so choose. I cannot see a problem with this. It seems the most logical and democratic thing to do. Or am i just being silly? Lol

I never realized that Jews constituted a unified race of people. My great-grandfather was a Polish Jew. There are Israeli Jews, Russian Jews, Ethiopian Jews, and Jews from far east Asian countries. So why are they referred to as a race of people, rather than just a belief system? That would kind of be like saying that Christians are a racial group separate from white, black, Asian, Hispanic/Latino, and Islanders. I don't get it.

What are good products to detangle baby's curly hair?

My DD is black/pacific islander and she has gorgeous curly hair. Not kinky curly, just corkscrew and waves. At the end of the day her hair is a hot mess of tangles, so I've been using some baby detangler (Johnson & Johnson I think) every night. But I really don't like it- it sort of leaves a film on her hair. Anyone with mixed babies know what works well for their hair?
