Will NHS pay for tuition and fees if I'm not a citizen of the UK?

So I'm American. And if my current plans for college fall through (i.e., don't get accepted into a School of Pharmacy) my fallback plan is to become a RN (Registered Nurse, super manly right?; not sure if you guys call it something else over there in the UK). Now assuming I've heard right, the NHS pays for tuition and fees if your courses at a uni are for becoming a nurse (still figuring out how course selection and applying to a university and all that works in the UK). Now the thing is is that I'm not a citizen of the UK. Would I still be able to get my tuition and fees paid for by the NHS?
